July 11 – rained out after round 1 so 1st round winners in both classes split their respective payouts – easy money!! But we did have Clutch Artist winners – Good Job Roger Blile (Quick Stick) and Anthony Burks (Street Stick). July 12 – Quick Stick Winner – Paul Luchynski; Runner Up – Jason Summer. Saturday, November 22, 2025 1:23 PM An executive meeting was held to discuss the ways and means to continue UMTR North as a viable entity.
Mike Loboda, the original holder of the UMTR North LLC has officially handed over the organization at this time. Approximately, 5 years ago he moved from the Ohio area and left UMTR in the capable hands of Frank Madonia. The banking and LLC that Mike had in place is now being replaced.
Jason Summer has agreed to set up a new UMTR North LLC to help continue the stick shift racing group everyone has helped to create and maintain. He has begun that process and will have it all in order for the 2026 race season.
Frank Madonia has begun and continues to work on the 2026 Race Schedule..
Frank’s wife Trish, with Heather Blile’s vast knowledge, has agreed to the daunting tasks of registering racers, setting and maintaining the race ladder at each race, and maintaining all points throughout the race season.
Larry Saver is considering becoming the voice of UMTR, providing play by play action from the track towers!! Reviving this lost reporting would be so cool!!
Brandon Margo has agreed to maintain the UMTR social media: Facebook pages, both public and members only, and the Miller’s will update the UMTR website.
Jim Wilson, with Heather’s valuable knowledge, has begun the process to get UMTR swag up and running.
Larry Kortkamp has agreed to park his Battlestar Galactic car hauler front and center to be used as a backdrop for UMTR registration at all tracks when we race!!
Judy Miller, with Darlene Hrdlicka’s valuable experience has begun the process to retain old sponsors and recruit new sponsors. If anyone knows of a business that would like to come on board in any capacity please have them call /text 814-490-3441 or email jzmjjm@aol.com.
Please know that there are still many opportunities for volunteers both at the track and behind the scenes. Please come to the UMTR Banquet with your calendar in hand as there will be sign up sheets with specific help/ needed positions, dates, etc. Don’t be shy, like the saying goes, It Takes A Village to Raise a Child, but, in this instance:

General Membership Meeting/Lunch was held Sunday November 9, 2025 2pm at Hoss’s Restaurant Grove City PA wiht 25 attendees including 17 members
A huge thank you was extended to Heather and Darlene for all they’ve done and continue to do for UMTR.
A request is going out to the membership for volunteers to fill the voids from them stepping back from some of their responsibilities. As Darlene says – she is not abandoning UMTR – she just needs to do a little less for us as she continues to care for her mom and Heather needs a little more time to juggle that busy working “single” mom life with 3 very active children while Troy works around the world.
UMTR is also looking for members who are willing to create a non-profit or LLC business structure for UMTR to operate with going forward. Several members are looking at the do’s and don’ts for this to happen and will update as knowledge becomes available.
Frank continues to pursue the tracks to lock in a 2026 schedule and he is also looking into the possibility of having a stick shift bracket series along the lines of the Summit Index Series.
